My Experience with Breast Implants

“It sounds like you’re making that up!”  After years of unexplainable symptoms, the last thing I was willing to believe was that my fake boobs were making me sick.

My story is not unique and may even sound similar to yours. I, like so many women, wanted to feel more confident and beautiful. Unfortunately, my definition of confidence and beauty had come out of society’s handbook, resulting in my decision to get breast implants.

Here’s What Happened

Within six months, I started developing symptoms;  hair loss, joint aches, rashes, and so on. The catalyst for change came when I could no longer complete a workout, or even climb a flight of stairs, without struggling to breathe. As a tenacious, fit woman who had always taken care of herself, I was frustrated and confused when the doctors would say they could find nothing wrong with me. One even suggested I see a psychologist. I would come to discover that my breast implants (what I believed to be a source of self-confidence) were in fact siphoning my health away from me.

Eventually, I decided enough was enough, that healthy is beautiful, that confidence is sexier than silicone, and that every boob and every woman needs love and care. That’s when Everyboob™ was born.
